MADD Chatham-Kent

Mission

MADD Canada's mission is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.
Our mandate is to offer support services to victims, heighten awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, and to save lives and prevent injuries on Canadian roads and waterways.
Founded in 1990, MADD Canada is a national grassroots organization with over 100 Chapters and Community Leaders across Canada, supported by an extensive network of volunteers.
MADD Chatham-Kent Chapter is a volunteer-based, charitable, grass-roots organization supporting all communities within the Chatham-Kent area.

Efforts are focused on five key areas:

  • Youth Services
  • Victim Services
  • Public Awareness and Education
  • Public Policy and,Anti-Impaired Driving Technology

MADD Chatham-Kent is made up of mothers, fathers, students, business professionals and concerned citizens who are changing things for the better. We believe you do not need to be a victim of impaired driving to take action on this vital issue, though many of our supporters have been affected deeply by impaired driving.

All donations made to MADD Chatham-Kent stay in our region and help us provide victim support, public awareness campaigns, school outreach programs, support for legislative change, community events, Project Red Ribbon and many more important initiatives.
