Quick start to RIDE
Toronto Sun
April 30

It didn't take long for Toronto Police to nab a drinking driver following the roll out of MADD Canada's Campaign 911-2009. In the RIDE check after the MADD launch, officers stopped a driver drinking a beer in his car. The 21-year-old got a 12-hour licence suspension and was charged with being a G2 licence holder with a blood alcohol count above zero and driving a car with an unsealed container of liquor in it.
