Mothers Against Drunk Driving Quinte Chapter officially launched their Project Red Ribbon campaign for Hastings and Prince Edward Counties yesterday. The campaign is a public awareness campaigns for sober driving throughout the holiday season. President Kerri Jianopolous say people are encouraged to display a red ribbon on their vehicle, car keys, backpack or other personal item as their personal commitment to drive sober and as a tribute to those who have been killed or injured in impaired driving crashes. MADD is distributing red ribbons throughout the Quinte region and are also being distributed by local retailers and at community displays.
