MADD Canada’s Project Red Ribbon Campaign
| |
Welcome to the 2006 Project Red Ribbon Podcast The aim of MADD Canada’s Project Red Ribbon awareness campaign is to promote safe and sober driving through the holiday season. This 2006 Project Red Ribbon podcast features MADD Canada’s National President Karen Dunham, who relates the significance of displaying a red ribbon as well as how the Prime Minister of Canada participated in the launch of this year’s campaign. Provincial Constable Eric Booth of the Ontario Provincial Police force shares his memories of a holiday crash a few years ago that dramatically illustrates the need for safer roads and more effective legislation to save innocent lives. Dawn Regan, Director of Finance and Fundraising at the MADD Canada National Office, also tells about various campaign events being held across the country in coordination with this year’s Project Red Ribbon sponsors. “MADD Canada hopes that with the broadcast of this Internet radio show, we will be able to reach more and more Canadians with our important message through the holidays and throughout the year. To this end, we encourage you to share this URL and share your thoughts about the podcast with your friends and loved ones.” Karen Dunham, National President, MADD Canada |
