We Are Here For You Victims are defined as anyone impacted by impaired driving. If you are a victim of impaired driving you are our number one priority. MADD-SENB offers the following services to local victims of impaired driving: Resource Materials MADD Canada has many informative publications for victims of impaired driving crimes. These publications are available at no cost and are always available through the local office. In addition to providing information on the justice system, we have a series of support brochures, such as Holiday and Hope and Coping with Injury. Many of these resources are also available online, in PDF format at MADD Canada Victim Services. In addition to MADD Resource Materials, the Correctional Service of Canada has an online Information Package for Victims of Crime. Court accompaniment and support during the criminal trial process MADD-SENB offers local court support to help families and friends understand the judicial proceedings and to be available to them during this traumatic experience. These volunteers are specially trained to assist victims with everything from writing and delivering their impact statements, to encouraging a liaison with Crown attorneys, police and other professionals. Referrals MADD-SENB has an extensive list of local community groups, agencies and resource guides to help victims of crime, specifically victims of impaired driving crimes, locate the resources they need to help them deal with the criminal justice process and the various networks of services and programs. Emotional support MADD-SENB's Victims' Services Volunteers are able to provide ongoing support during this traumatic time.
