Fran Menzies, born December 29, 1934, died April 24, 1992. Our family
was
torn apart when a drunk driver killed our wife, mother, grandmother,
teacher
and friend.
She was 57 years old and looking forward to enjoying
retirement
with her husband, Don, of 32 years. Her hopes and dreams for the future
were snatched away in a matter of seconds. She is no longer here to
share
our happiness or comfort us in our sadness.
Living without Mom's love
and
companionship has been the most difficult thing any one of us has had to
endure. She is missed and thought of in every aspect of life.
Her
absence
has made the milestones of life, such as; the birth of four more
grandchildren, her first grandchild graduating from high school,
birthdays,
anniversaries, and holidays bittersweet celebrations.
