On a beautiful summer day, as the little blue car departed for a drive in the beautiful peaceful area of Newfoundland, an intoxicated man took to the road and struck the blue Cavalier, killing one and injuring three others.

The following message was provided by Josephine's daughter, Bridget.

On such a beautiful day, our family never imagined that before my Mom got into that car that it would be the last time we would ever see her beautiful smile. Our mother was beautiful and kind, inside and out. Because of one man who didn't think, and chose to drink and drive, my whole family will forever mourn the loss of our Angel.
