While walking on the shoulder of the road, he was struck from behind by an impaired driver. He was killed instantly, the driver is charged with impaired driving causing death, leaving the scene of an accident, and failing to provide breath samples.

Harry will always be remembered as a loving, caring, fun-loving person, a very protective brother and lover of animals. He was very proud of his job and a very dedicated worker.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Rita, sister Daphne of Alberta, brother Andrew of Pembroke, Ontario, niece Felicia and nephew Andrew.
