Devon Michael Hedin   Home City: Squamish, British Columbia Age: 21 Date of Crash: September 17, 1994 My son Devon and his two friends were the innocent victims of a head-on collision on the Squamish - Whistler highway in September of 1994. The driver of the other vehicle was speeding, drinking, and had had no sleep in 19 hours. He was charged with dangerous driving causing death x 3 and received only a slap on the wrist. My name is Pennie McNutt. My son, Devon Hedin was killed by a drunk driver. I relive this every day. Please don't drink and drive! In memory of my son, Devon. He was killed by someone who was drinking and driving. May his death not be in vain. I hope that someone, somewhere, remembers his picture on the wall when they consider driving after drinking. This loss has devastated his family and friends and left his son without a father. My greatest hope is that a life will be saved because they see this memorial board!
