MADD Canada had commissioned an evaluation of our Multi-Media Assembly Program with NRG Research Group to ensure that we are meeting our targets for the program. During this past school year, we surveyed students from across the country soon after they saw our presentation with a series of questions and then 3 months later asked them to answer another series of questions.
The results are now in. I have attached the Executive Summary for the survey and it has been posted on our website under the youth section/student research survey.
The survey results do indeed show that we are producing high quality programming and having the desired results in changing youth behaviour. The survey results will also help us in future programming. Research Group and the results are additionally significant. You can view the Executive Summary of this research on our website at http://www.madd.ca/english/youth/student_research_study.html.

MADD METRO VANCOUVER NEWSLETTER
Road crashes are the #1 cause of teen death in Canada. Two out of every five teens killed on the road have been drinking. One in three people who die in alcohol-related crashes are under the age of 25. Studies show that 31.9% of students surveyed reported being a passenger in a car driven by a drunk driver.
